The official working language of the meeting is English.

Passport and Visa
There are no visa requirements for EU passport holders. All non-EU citizens should contact their local embassies for specific requirements. All foreign citizens entering Germany must be in possession of a valid passport or ID card.
 

Official Invitation
An official letter designed to assist in meeting administrative requirements in some countries, will be send to any participation upon request. Health and Insurance
Participants are requested to arrange their own insurance for health, travel and property. The Organising Committee will not accept any liability for personal injuries, loss or damage of property.

Smoking Ban
Smoking is forbidden in enclosed places of work in Germany. This includes office blocks, various buildings, public houses and restaurants and company vehicles.

Currency and Money Exchange
The monetary unit of Germany is the Euro. Currency can be exchanged at the airport or at the banks. All major Credit Cards, such as MasterCard, Visa; American Express are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.

Electricity Supply
Germany’s electrical system is 220 V, 50 Hz and the outlets are of two-round pin type.

Climate
The weather in Leipzig in September is usually a mix of sunny and cloudy weather with day temperature of 15-20°C and night temperature about 10-15 °C.

Certification
A Certificate of Attendance will be available at the Registration desk if required.

Badges and Identification
Upon registration, each participant will receive a name badge to be worn at all times during the Conference activities and social events.

Registration Desk
The Registration Desk will be open for ICBAR participants the whole time of Congress.
